The short version. Use the site and the free guides — they're yours to read, apply and share internally. Don't resell them or pass them off as your own. Everything here is general information, not advice for your specific situation; the numbers we publish are either sourced third-party benchmarks or our own experience, and neither is a promise about your business. If you engage us, a separate written agreement sets out the scope, the fee and the targets — that document governs the work, not this page.
The rest of this page is the same position, said precisely.
These terms apply between you and Sales Playground (ABN 78 474 541 624), Sydney, Australia. By using this website, downloading a resource, subscribing to The Scoreboard or booking a call, you accept them. If you don't, don't use the site.
Everything published here — the pages, the guides, the workbooks, the videos, the newsletter — is general information. It's written carefully, from real experience, but it doesn't know your business, your numbers or your market.
It is not financial, legal, accounting, tax or employment advice, and it isn't a substitute for advice from someone who has looked at your actual situation. Reading it does not create a client relationship between us.
Before you act on anything here, apply your own judgement — and where the decision is material, get advice from a qualified professional.
The Growth Playbook, The Draft Board, the workbooks and any other resource we give you are free, and we mean free — no card, no hidden tier, no locked chapter.

A kick-off call or career kick-off is a free, no-obligation conversation. Booking one doesn't commit either of us to anything, and neither does the written note that follows it.
We ask you to bring real numbers so the twenty minutes are useful. Bring only what you're comfortable sharing — and if any of it is confidential, say so and we'll treat it that way.
If you can't make a booked time, reschedule or cancel using the link in your confirmation email. We'll do the same for you.
Nothing on this website is an offer capable of acceptance, and nothing here forms a contract for services. Prices and levels shown on the site indicate the shape and relative scale of an engagement — they are not quotes.
If we work together, you'll receive a written proposal or agreement setting out the scope, deliverables, fee, term and what each side is responsible for. That document governs the work. Where it differs from anything on this website, it wins.
This matters enough to say plainly, in four parts.
Figures such as the average Australian Head of Sales salary, SDR tenure and ramp times, gross-margin and conversion benchmarks, or the cost of large-firm consulting are drawn from published third-party sources, cited where they appear. They describe a market. They don't describe your business, and we don't warrant their accuracy — they're the best available evidence, not gospel.
Where we refer to results the founder has personally produced — including more than $2 million in qualified sales pipeline generated as a business development manager — that is a record of past work in a specific context. Pipeline means qualified opportunities at their stated value; it is not revenue, and it is not a forecast of what you would produce.
Targets described on the site — meeting volumes, launch timeframes, term lengths — are the targets we design engagements around, and they are set, qualified and agreed in the engagement agreement. On this website they are illustrative.
We don't guarantee revenue, growth, pipeline, a job offer, a promotion or a salary outcome, and we're openly sceptical of anyone who does. Results depend on your market, your offer, your team, your timing and the work you actually do. Where a specific programme carries its own written guarantee, the terms and limits of that guarantee are set out in that programme's agreement — not here.
The content, design, frameworks, method names and materials on this site are owned by Sales Playground or used with permission. The free-resource licence above is the extent of what you're granted; everything else stays ours.
Work produced during a paid engagement is dealt with in the engagement agreement — where our standard position is that the strategy, messaging, sequences and data we build with you transfer to you when the engagement ends.
This site links to third-party sites and embeds third-party tools — booking calendars, forms and video players among them. We don't control them, we're not responsible for their content or availability, and a link isn't an endorsement. Their terms and privacy policies apply when you use them.
We aim to keep the site up and accurate, but we don't promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change, suspend or remove any part of it at any time, including the free resources.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), including the Australian Consumer Law, where those cannot lawfully be excluded.
Where our services come with guarantees that can't be excluded and we fail to meet them, you're entitled to the remedies the law provides. Where we're permitted to limit our liability, we limit it to resupplying the services or paying the cost of having them resupplied.
Subject to the section above, and to the fullest extent the law allows:
Don't use this site to break the law, don't attempt to interfere with it or gain unauthorised access, and don't submit someone else's personal information through our forms without their knowledge.
How we handle your information is set out in our privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Disputes go to the courts of New South Wales — though we'd much rather you emailed us first, and we'll always try to sort it out directly.
We may update these terms; the date at the top shows when we last did. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the current version.
